If I bought an XJ220, but put aftermarket wheels on it?
Nothing crazy, just something simple and probably the same size or maybe an inch larger.
The shape of the car is great, but those wheels just scream 90s.

They never made Ronal Bear wheels in that size :(

Yes; Yes you would. There are so few of these that if you bought one its your duty to preserve them and not flavor them to taste. Besides, those wheels are excellent.

Yup

Damn, what about Daisies?

You probably would. But you could somehow make a replica of this:
Actually no, don’t do that. They’re too rare

Please? I’d shrink wrap the originals and keep them in a vault.

Gold BBS RS the crap out of it. Then drop the height 3 inches. Also remove the front and rear bumpers. Extra points for no engine cover.

Actually, if you Google “XJ220,” the very first image result is on aftermarket wheels. It’s, um, not good:

Like this? Not a very good shot of it

Stance it too. Camber bro.

Oh yeah, stickerbomb one of the fenders.

only for the winter

Not if they are these wheels. Then you’d be a connoisseur
![]() 02/16/2016 at 17:29 |

Yes, those wheels are phenomenal.

I’d sell em to some VW stancebro just to spite you all.

As long as the new ones are lighter, I’d ditch the OEMS.

Only if you didn’t give the OG wheels to me.

Yes.
Next question.

I feel like a set of BBS with aero covers would look nice

These are the only acceptable options because TWR did them.

You’d be hard pressed to find better - it’s too bad that car didn’t get the motor it deserved. It could have been the Veyron of it’s day...

Saw a blue one on gold bbs wheels once. Looked great.

I think a set of BBS style wheels from the XJ220S would be acceptable. Although I think part of the car’s coolness comes from those odd wheels.

You really want a set of Peniston wheels. I think the Dickinson style is made in the right size.

Put some TE37s on it and move on.

As long as they’re high quality, nicely designed and lighter, I would go for it. However, I’d keep the stock wheels somewhere safe.

Would I be a Monster If I bought an XJ220, but put aftermarket wheels on it?
Yes.

Not crazy about those

It was the fastest car in the world for a while, so it kinda was the Veyron of it’s day.
